Dentist/ Ice Cream Social:
This was yesterday Monday 10th, I more day and the boys start kindergarten, they are excited to begin their the new chapter in their academic life.
Lori had taken the day off last week and this, boys final preschool day at Promise Town was the 29th of July.
She took the boys in for their bi annual dental check up, reminds me I need to schedule mine soon.
Ben was getting his first bitewing x-ray, he was scared at the concept to getting an x-ray. Andy has had 4 already in his life, two for his chest, two for his mouth, okay maybe more for when they were 2 they got their tonsils out. I am sure x-rays were involved. Andy needed an updated x-ray of his front teeth since falling in the gym at daycare and knocking his teeth/mouth.
      The bottom line, no cavities.

Boys next to Flossy, proud of no cavities. Dentist Dr. Lauren Weddle DDS. Highly recommend, her office staff is excellent with the boys.  Lori was told usually around 5 1/2 kids will start to lose their baby teeth.

We met a couple at the social, Aden I think was his name, 5 children, 2 going to Forest Dale, 1 in High school, the other in daycare. They live other side of Keystone Ave. After sharing with him where we live - general area, he knows the family who lived in the house where we live now.
Boys enjoyed the ice cream social, both were able to find where there kindergarten class room located. Their teacher is Mrs. White.
Boys were too hyped up to return home, Andy wanted to run around in front of the school follow this sidewalk path that was about 100 yrd in length, kind of their former daycare triangle run. Again something for another entry.  Andy is running well, keeping up with Ben, not getting short of breath as he use to. His running stride is such that his feet follow under his legs and not to the outside.
They wanted to go back of the school to play at the playground for a while. We did, Andy excited he was able to slide down the pole, Ben excited he could do two of the 6 metal rings without my assistance.
Returning home, read to the boys: Kindergarten Rocks and Dad's First Day.

When time allows will need to write about this.

How frequently have I heard this phrase:  "Where has all the time gone" and " they have grown so quickly". We are all given the same amount of time - 60 seconds in 1 minute, 60 minutes in 1 hour, 24 hours in 1 day, 365.25 days in 1 year. That is 31,557,600 seconds a year. How we spend that time is up to us.
Daily as adults we do the same "9-5" 5 days a week and the weekend is no different. When we stop "smell the roses" we look at our children and realize. " Where did time go? Wow they have grown up so quickly".
My goal with this Blog is to be a public/personal daily account of my son's lives particularly as they start kindergarten. I want to be able to internalize my time I have with them and daily "smell those roses".
Who am I kidding the first few days like a new years resolution I will be up on this and sure I will start slacking off as months go on, but I am asking you the reader to hold me accountable; keep me on my toes. My entries may be a few lines long, some bullet points, or multiple paragraphs but we will see where this experiment/experience will take me.
Truthfully, as I write this staring at my wife, my bride. Where did those 12 years disappear. Today being the 9th, in 7 days we will have celebrated 12 years together. 7 just her and I and the last 5 - my wife, I and two boys. Where has the time gone. I should have started a blog about us.
So I will also be including observations, thoughts, comments, reflections with my wife as well.
